Familiar and friendly, this smooth and sophisticated gender-neutral fragrance is reminiscent of a warm, sunny sea. With a light, fresh feel and long lasting effect on your skin and clothes, this body spray features oudh oil and regenerative neroli from Lebanon.

Made in England

What's in it for you?

- An evening at the beach captured in a body spray, this fragrance gets its uplifting scent from Lebanese neroli oil that adds a delicately floral and somewhat citrusy note.

- Oudh and sandalwood oil bring a depth to this fragrance that has all the warmth of a crackling fire.

Leaving the world Lusher than we found it

- Made with neroli from a regenerative project in Lebanon. The country's long dry summers and short rainy winters make it an ideal climate for the bitter orange blossom tree.

- Organic ethanol helps transport this fragrance from the bottle to your skin, allowing the perfume to diffuse smoothly while supporting biodiversity on the ground. It's made from regeneratively farmed sugar cane produced with renewable energy in Brazil.

How to use: Spritz on your body, avoiding the underarm area, for a light burst of seaside breeze.

How to store: Store your body spray somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight between uses.

You may notice that the printed label in orders for this body spray might differ to those pictured. This is due to local manufacturing limitations, but the fragrance inside remains the same, so your nose won't know the difference.

Delicately floral and somewhat citrusy, the scent of neroli is distinctively cheering.

Neroli oil comes from the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium amara), which is an evergreen member of the Rutaceae plant family. Many parts of the tree are used for perfuming and culinary purposes. The fruits flavour food and drinks, and the flowers are distilled to produce neroli oil and orange flower absolute. Petitgrain oil is also obtained from the leaves and twigs of this same tree.

Neroli is naturally uplifting and widely used in aromatherapy for its stress-relieving effects. This oil is a true luxury, as the distillation process requires a lot of flowers to produce just a little.

Marie-Anne de La Trémoille (1642 - 1722) named the bitter orange flower oil ‘neroli’ after the city Nerola in Italy of which she was the princess. She loved to wear the oil as a perfume and created a trend in European royal courts - she would probably be called an influencer nowadays.

Lush sources a few different neroli oils from several different suppliers. To find out more, browse your Lush product’s list of ingredients and click on the ones you are interested in. This should take you to a page full of details!

Sandalwood is a distinctly reassuring and grounding scent; it creates the base of many marvellous perfumes.

Sandalwood is an umbrella name for many scented trees, all belonging to the Santalum genus. These evergreen trees can grow up to 50 feet tall and have to be at least 25 years old before the wood is ready for distillation.

The scent of sandalwood is warm, sweet and woody.

The oil is astringent, emollient and soothing to the skin.

It fixes other essential oils, naturally enhancing the longevity of a perfume.

There are about 10 different types of sandalwood acress various parts of the world. Its aroma can change slightly depending on the origin.

Because of its popular fragrance and importance in many rites and folk medicine around the globe, sandalwood has been overexploited and the harvesting badly managed for centuries, leaving some species endangered. Although regulations have been made by governments, the high value of the wood still leads to smuggling, counterfeits and corruption, making it very difficult to find sustainable sources and a good oil quality. After long investigations and adventures, Lush buyers have found a few reliable sources. To find out more about our suppliers, browse your Lush product’s list of ingredients and click on the ones you are interested in. This should take you to a page full of details!
