Lush Co-Founder and Perfumer Mark Constantine created this light, bright perfume in the middle of a long, cold winter. He was in a morose mood (“I’m prone to melancholy”) and longing for the sun. From that funk came a perfume that embodied the wistful Californian beach sound of Simon & Garfunkel and memories of driving over the New Jersey turnpike playing "America" on cassette. “I wanted to build a tower of sunshine fruits,” he recalls, “a perfume that would lift me out of my melancholy.”

- Made with sandalwood from responsibly managed forests mainly in West Timor, where our reforestation efforts ensure more trees are planted than harvested.

How to use: When you’re ready to chase summer, fragrance your skin or clothes with a few, well-placed spritzes. If applying after a shower or bath, we recommend letting the skin cool first so the perfume sits better and for longer.

How to store: Don’t let this sun fade too soon, store your perfume somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight between uses.

An orange is a well-known fruit within the citrus family that grows on trees all around the world. The sweet orange is a flowering tree with glossy, evergreen leaves and thorny branches, and it is thought to be native to China, and East Asia. The trees now grow all over the world. Botanically, their juicy, edible, orange-coloured fruits are a type of berry called a hesperidium.

Orange juice and oil have astringent, cleansing properties that help the skin and hair to glow.

Oranges contain potassium, folic acid, and large amounts of vitamin C, which together with lutein help improve skin elasticity.

Citrus scents are usually uplifting and refreshing, but the sweetness of oranges tends to be so cheerful that it actually promotes rest. You feel good, therefore you relax.

Orange peel wax is considered a good vegan alternative to lanolin as it has similar emollient, moisturising and emulsifying properties, with a lightweight feel.
