Shell-ebrate the coolest critter you know by wrapping up their favorite Lush product for their next aquatic adventure. If they love turtles, they’re sure to love this alternative to single-use wrapping paper!
This design was created by Brigitte Jordi, in collaboration with Brändi Design, who helps individuals with cognitive or mental disabilities discover their full potential, gain new perspectives and overcome perceived limitations. When designing this lokta paper, Brigitte was inspired by a new muse, “Suddenly, a new animal came to mind and I wanted to learn something new. Turtles have good shells. I looked at pictures of how turtles live.”

Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
Nepalese handmade paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of the evergreen shrub, Daphne Bhopal, also known as lokta bushes. They are cut a few cm from ground level, allowing the plant to regrow from the radial root. The plants regenerate and can then be re-harvested after three to seven years depending on altitude and growing conditions. Bastipur, close to the Indian border, has the perfect dry conditions required for the paper-making process and the unit there was set up to create employment and support empowerment of women in the area. Pass forward, reuse or recycle for a lush environment.
Size: 13.7" x 13.7": ideal for holding a small Lush bottle, pot or standard-sized bath bomb.
Your order will be expertly protected against impact during transit by biodegradable Eco-Pops, compostable packaging nuggets made from potato starch! They're easily dissolvable in water or soil.
